Nature of This Resource

This is a private reference for finding Surry County and Virginia custody-record sources. It stores no official jail roster, release entry, booking image, court file, or corrections record. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, submit a government filing, or change an agency record.

Pages point toward Riverside Regional Jail, the Surry County Sheriff, Virginia courts, VADOC, VINE, and federal custody systems. Some pages also connect visitors to independent search providers. Official government records remain controlled by their custodians and, when applicable, Virginia's Freedom of Information Act, Va. Code §§ 2.2-3700 through 2.2-3715.

Surry County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide consumer reports, credit reports, background checks, or screening services. Its advertising and search partners are not offered through this site for those purposes. By using the site, a visitor agrees not to use any content or linked result for:

• Hiring, firing, promotion, or another employment decision.
• Tenant selection, housing access, or lease decisions.
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing and eligibility.
• Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government benefit.
• Any other decision governed by the FCRA.

Service Without Warranties

Custody status, court entries, office contacts, and public portals can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement by the Surry County Sheriff, Riverside Regional Jail, VADOC, a court, or another government agency. Confirm material with its issuing office.

Limits on Liability
